The most important points in this video are that it shows how to attract the attention of clients and now the most useful way is the video marketing. A lot of people are watching more and more videos, because people prefer to watch videos rather than reading a text. In fact, people find more attractive to watch a video because they have more attention and they may hold more information in their mind and finally it is easy to share with other people through social media for example. The use of videos may be very different so people can promote a product or present a service.

A hotel or a business which is using videos as part of their digital landscape is still the same example of the Accor hotel group and even the hotel themselves I mean each brand of the accor group is using videos as a digital strategy. Ibis launch its own snapchat account for an innovating operation in digitals. They even have their own youtube channel. even if this is a less expensive brand of the group they are really present on digitals because nowadays they may attract a lot of people through this.

By taking the example of Ibis brand,  I think that this is really entertaining because they are using videos as a real tool of promotion so they are creating contents which are entertaining for clients so they will be more likely to come and stay in a Ibis hotel.
They are using all the different kind of platform for promoting videos of the brand such as Snapchat, they have also a youtube channel or on Instagram.
They created something very different on snapchat specially dedicated for the millennials, for attracting them. it is called Snap'eyes.

We can measure their effectiveness by for example checking how many followers they have for example almost 31 000 people on their Youtube channel which is enormous compared to the Accor hotel group for example, they also have on Instagram an account for each ibis around the world so people can share their experience and even discover new hotels.

Their video effort clearly fit with their social media efforts because as I explained above they are trying to reach more the millennials so they goal is to be really present on Social medias and they are trying to be entertaining for example by creating innovative way to reach clients or contents which are quite different from others. The Ibis brand is really trying to play a lot on their digital strategy.
They publish a lot of their videos in there Facebook page even videos from other clients.
Actually they are using snippet for their Facebook page but also for Twitter. We can say that they are using social medias in the really right way.

A hotel brand which is using video effectively is IBIS clearly this is the best example because they use videos as a real tool for promoting their brand and their hotels. As this is a less expensive brand of the Accor hotel group they are trying to reach younger people so they need to be connected on social medias and digital if they want to reach them and to fit their expectations.
I think that their videos are more social rather than professional because they don't want to create a boring video that nobody will remember the goal is to create something unique and which catch the attention of clients so they will remember and would want to live the experience of the ibis hotels.

An event which incorporate videos as a distribution method is the AccorHotels Arena, actually they use videos for quite everything. By going through the website we can find videos everywhere for every kind of demand. There is a video of presentation of the AccorHotel Arena and then for example there are videos about how people may prepare themselves for coming to this place, or videos which present the place or even a video when we only click only the link for presenting the AccorHotel Arena. We could find even videos about each new events which is going to be presented in the AccorHotel Arena.
The video marketing is supported on their social media for example on Facebook there are the different videos which remind the events which happened in the Arena, they also have videos on their instagram page so we can definitely say that they are present on every social media.

To my mind videos are a really important channel because as I told just before through the youtube video, we can get the attention of more people through videos actually people find more interest in videos rather than reading a text because it is more entertaining and interactive.
Moreover videos can diffuse more information as people do not see the time passing by so we can get their attention for a longer period of time.
Videos can be diffuse almost on each social media so we can reach more people through Facebook, instagram, twitter, youtube or even through the official website.
Moreover people are more connected to digital so they are using more digital tool, they would prefer to watch a video rather than reading a book, indeed we can better target people and reach their emotions because they feel more implicated in a video.
